Allowed Content

What We Love to See

  • Progress photos and updates: Share your fitness journey!
  • Workout achievements: PRs, completed workouts, fitness milestones
  • Meal prep and nutrition: Healthy food photos and recipes
  • Motivational content: Inspire others on their journey
  • Challenge updates: Share your competition progress
  • Fitness tips: Help others with what you've learned
  • Questions and discussions: Ask for advice, share experiences

Photo Guidelines

Prohibited Content

The following content is absolutely not allowed on SpotMe:

1. Nudity and Sexual Content

Note: Fitness attire for progress photos is acceptable (sports bras, compression shorts, swimwear, etc.)

2. Violence and Dangerous Activities

3. Hate and Harassment

4. Illegal Activities

5. Misinformation

6. Spam and Deception

7. Minor Safety

Challenge and Competition Guidelines

Fair Play Rules

  1. Be Honest: Report accurate workout data
  2. No Cheating: Don't manipulate or falsify results
  3. Good Sportsmanship: Win or lose with grace
  4. Respect Opponents: Competition should be fun, not hostile

What's Not Okay

Commenting Guidelines

Good Comments

  • Encouragement and support
  • Constructive fitness advice
  • Genuine questions
  • Celebrating others' achievements

Bad Comments

  • Unsolicited criticism of appearance
  • Negative comments about someone's body
  • Harassment or bullying
  • Spam or self-promotion
  • Sexual comments

Reporting Content

How to Report

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

  1. Tap the menu icon (...) on the post
  2. Select "Report Post"
  3. Choose the reason for reporting
  4. Submit your report

What Happens After a Report

When to Report

Please report:

Consequences for Violations

Warning System

  1. First Violation: Warning and content removal
  2. Second Violation: Temporary posting restriction
  3. Third Violation: Extended suspension
  4. Severe/Repeated Violations: Permanent ban

Immediate Ban Offenses

Some violations result in immediate permanent bans:

  • Child exploitation content (also reported to authorities)
  • Credible threats of violence
  • Severe harassment
  • Illegal activity

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was wrongly suspended:

  1. Contact us at sullivanrory9@gmail.com
  2. Include your username and explanation
  3. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe

Tips for Positive Participation

  1. Be supportive: A simple "great job!" can make someone's day
  2. Share knowledge: If you've learned something helpful, pass it on
  3. Stay humble: Everyone starts somewhere
  4. Be authentic: Real progress beats fake perfection
  5. Protect your privacy: Be mindful of what you share
  6. Report, don't retaliate: If someone breaks the rules, report them instead of engaging
